Youth Capital Fund

Due to popular demand the Youth Capital Fund is back and now in an area near you!

To avoid confusion, the Youth Capital Fund is NOT for activities.Youth Capital Fund is for equipment or refurbishment. However, this does not include day to day maintenance.

The fund will be distributed in 4 different areas:

Bermondsey & Rotherhithe
Borough, Bankside and Walworth
Camberwell and Dulwich
Peckham, Peckham Rye and Nunhead

Each of the areas has been allocated money and you can apply for up to £1,000.

Here are some examples of wht the Youth Capital Fund has been spent on in the past:

Babyseats for minibus for young parents group
Music Equipment
Refurbishment of run down areas in clubs
Specialist I.T equipment
Sewing machines for a carnival group and fashion project
Equipment for sensory room for young people with special needs

These are just a few ideas but generally the youth panel is looking for applications to include equipment that will make a real difference to your area and youth club/project.

All applications need to come from young people (13-19 years olds) who are brave enough to say WE WANT THIS!

Please make sure all planned purchases take place before date: TBA

Each applicant needs to be supported by an organisation (e.g. local youth project, faith group, uniformed group, tenants and residents association)...one application per organisation please!

This year there are a NEW set of application forms and guidelines, so please make sure you read all the information before submitting an application form.
