VCashpoint
Vcashpoint is back... with a twist
Young people aged 16-25 can apply to up to £2500 to run a new volunteering project that benefits a community of their choice.
Vcashpoint gives young
people the opportunity to take complete ownership of their project and to get
involved in something that they are passionate about. It also aims to raise the positive profile
of young people and to break down the barriers that they
face.
The next round of vcashpoint is Olympic and
Paralympics themed but that doesn’t mean we want to just fund sports projects.
If your project fits into one of the Olympic and Paralympics themes then you can
apply. They are Sport, Culture, Environment, Health and
Education.
What opportunities does it offer?
Applicants can carry out any type of volunteering opportunities they like as long as there is a clear volunteering role and they are benefitting a specific community and it fits within the themes and values of the Olympic and Paralympics Games.
Vcashpoint gives young
people the chance to carry out a youth-led project whilst developing their
skills and confidence. It also gives you the opportunity to take part in
something that you might not normally have the chance to do, whilst adding
something to your CV to enhance employability.
How to get involved
Vcashpoint currently has Round 9 open for application and the deadline is 12pm on 6 September 10. Anyone wishing to apply should go to the Vcashpoint section here, and read the guidance carefully before applying. You can apply online or download an application form.
