The Music Masterclass - what's on offer?

• Training in professional recording studio software and hardware including Logic, Cubase and Reason.
  
  
• Access to mix tape sessions
  
  
• Tuition by specialist tutors in all areas of popular music making
  
  
• Record your own vocals any style; RnB, Soul, Popular, Dj’ing,  Mc’ing.
  
  
• Learn to play: Drums, Keyboards, Bass and electric and acoustic guitar
  
  
• Learn hoe to read music, theory and aural awareness.
  
  
• Get access to careers advice from within the music business.
  
  
  

The opening times and session types for the Music Project are:

Monday 6 till 9pm

Artist Development - Are you serious about music? Develop your profile as an artist and see how far you can go

Intro to live instruments - Popular instruments including guitar, drums, keyboards and bass guitar

Vocal Workshop - Develop your breathing control and vocal skills, using projection techniques and scales

DJ & MC Workshop - An opportunity to work with professional DJ equipment and DJ's

Wednesday 5 till 8pm

Music master class - Do you have decent talent, experience and  commitment as a musician? The music master class is for you

Thursday 6 till 9pm

Open mic night - DJ, rap, MC, spit...whatever you want to do

Friday 5 till 7pm

Mixde night - DJ and MC, mix tape, beat building and computer research for 11 to 16 yr olds

The cost is £15 for a 12 month membership to the music masterclass
