The Band - London Philharmonic Orchestra

Calling all aspiring young musicians from Southwark, here's your chance to join The Band (set up by the London Philharmonic Orchestra).  The band creates its own music which will be influenced by the music you like and listen to, including Hip-Hop, RnB, Jazz, Classical, Bangra, Grime....

If you join The Band you can benefit from:

• Free regular rehearsals with expert workshop leaders

• Advice and tips from professional musicians in one of the world’s leading orchestras

• A chance to perform with other young musicians and members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra in some of London’s top venues

It goes without saying that it’s all great fun too!

If you are 15 - 19 years old, from Southwark, Lambeth or Lewisham and this sounds like your kind of thing then get in touch. All instruments and voices are welcome and there are no auditions. Sessions are free – The Band  just want committed young people, who are into making their own new music.
