What Steve had to say about giving back

Steve said, “After playing basketball with the NBA in America and returning to England to play in the British Basketball League, I realised that I could share my experiences within my community.  My overall objective is to provide individuals with the unique experience of quality coaching sessions providing them with the best disciplines which I learnt. I am dedicated to providing each young person that attends one of my sessions with the essential skills and knowledge to help them become a better person and basketball player.”

What he had to say about working with Southwark College

When asked why he decided to work in partnership with Southwark College, Steve said “Basketball is a well established and lucrative sport in America and Europe, whereas in Britain there is room for improvement.  It is with programmes such as “The Southwark basketball Academy”, that we hope to raise basketball's profile.  We want to provide young people with the necessary skills and opportunity to enjoy and excel in the game and off the court.”
