Unicorn Youth Theatre is recruiting
The Unicorn Youth Theatre is expanding! They are looking for enthusiastic and committed new members to join the exciting youth theatre programme from the summer term onwards.
Join the Youth Theatre and work with professional directors, artists and theatre staff to create original drama work that is always exciting and highly creative.
You'll develop your skills and get to use the amazing facilities at Unicorn Theatre including rehearsal and theatre spaces as well as getting free tickets to Unicorn productions.
Group details
The Youth Theatre runs termly, after school from 4.30pm to 6pm. The sessions are run by professional artists and directors and are for young people aged 10 to 16 living or going to school in Southwark and Tower Hamlets. There are currently places in both the Tuesday and Thursday groups (10 to 13 years old) and the Wednesday group (14 to 16 years old).
The Youth Theatre programme also includes Easter workshops as well as a two week intensive Summer Youth Theatre Project.
Unicorn are able to offer the Youth Theatre at the greatly subsidised rate of £10 per child for the whole 10 week term. If you receive a free school meals there will be no charge.
No specific talent needed
You don't need to have any specific talents, but commitment, enthusiasm for theatre, openness and ability to work well as part of a team.
