The London 2012 Olympics has seen the biggest volunteering ever - with over 70, 000 people needed to make the Games happen.
Young Games Makers?
Over 250 teams of young Games Makers were needed (more than 2000 young volunteers) for the London 2012 Games.

Southwark Youth Volunteering
One hundred and twenty local young people have signed up to volunteer on this programme.
The young people were also CRB checked and will receive an accreditation at the end of their volunteering placement. They will also get the chance to win tickets to the London 2012 Games.
