The competiton - BT's Big Voice

The competition invited 11-19 year olds to send in proposals for a short film on any issue that young people wanted to have their say about. 

Over 100 schools and colleges endered but only 36 went through to the final stage.

The Film Treatment

The year 11 and 12 students inspired judges with their unique proposal on teenage pregnancy from a boy’s perspective.  The students wanted a local issue that affected young people in Bermondsey and collectively came up with teenage pregnancy.

Students received support from Ravensbourne College to turn their proposal into a short film. They learnt how to storyboard and use the video equipment.
