Youth advisers
Youth advisers work with adults, community leaders and decision makers in Southwark to 'youth proof' decisions that are made.
Youth advisers speak out for young people, tell local decision makers what young people want compared with what they think can be achieved and advise adults on how they can engage with young people about things that are important to them.
There are currently two youth advisers in each community council area. They work closely with adults, decision makers and community leaders on local issues and generally help to improve things for young people in Southwark.
