Southwark Youth Council
Southwark Youth Council (SYC) and Youth Community Council (YCC) for 13 – 19 yr olds, is a voice for young people run by young people. Your YCC is local to you (i.e Peckham, Walworth, Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Camberwell, Borough & Bankside, Dulwich and Peckham Rye & Nunhead), SYC is a combination of representatives from all these YCCs to talk about borough wide issues.
Your ideas, your opinions, your voice
SYC is active in decision making across the borough. We hold events and workshops as a way for young people to express their views and take those views to the decision makers such as the councillor in charge of children's services and education.
