There are a number of projects in Southwark which support people with learning difficulties and their families and carers.

• Orient Street Respite Unit offers families that care for children with learning disabilities a short break from caring. For more information call 020 7582 5907

• The Post Box Project in East Dulwich is a twice-weekly drop in group offering IT, drama, music, sports, keep fit, dance, arts and crafts, homework support, videos and trips and summer programmes for all young people in the borough. For more information call 07947 120 444
