Cuming Museum Youth Panel

Meet new people, learn new skills and have new experiences. Make a real impact in your local community by joining the new Cuming Museum youth panel

Over six weeks, get trained by professional film-makers to script, shoot and edit a film inspired by the museum’s collections.

More about the film project

During the project you’ll develop creative and technical skills. You will receive help to get an Arts Award qualification. It's also a great chance to meet new people and have fun.

The final animated documentary will be screened at local venues and at a celebration event at the museum.

When does it start?

The film project gets underway on Saturday 8, 15 and 22 October from 1 – 5 pm.
Wednesday 26, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October 10 am – 5 pm (half term, lunch provided) and
Saturday 5, 11 and 19 November 1 – 5 pm

  • Advise the museum on issues concerning young people
