Whatever your situation you don’t have to do it all alone. There is plenty of support for young mums and dads that can help make being a parent one of the most rewarding things in your life.
Local help
There is a teenage parent adviser who works with young parents in Southwark. They give advice to suit individual needs on matters such as healthcare, parenting skills, education, childcare and housing. The service is open access so you don’t need an appointment.
Southwark Brook
Provides Free and Confidential sexual health advice and information for under 25s. Including emergency contraception, condoms, pregnancy testing, referral for termination of pregnancy, screening for some sexually transmitted infections and other advice on sexual health.
