There are free condoms up for grabs - when you sign up for the C-Card...
The C-Card
There is a new condom scheme in operation, allowing you to grab free condoms whenever you see the C-Card sign or poster.
The poster will be advertised in agencies you'll recognize, such as
- Connexions
- Kick-Start
- Kids Co
- Hexagon Housing
- Southwark Education Business Alliance
You will see the signs and posters in and around Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth. But the scheme is currently expanding, so you might see posters in other areas soon!
How do I get one?
Once you see a poster, all you have to do to get a card is answer a few simple questions and fill out a form with your DOB and where you're from.
That's it, it's as easy as that. From then on, whenever you see the poster or card you can get free condoms! You just have to make sure you have your card with you at the time.
The agencies also have trained staff that can highlight proper condom use. They can also point you in the right direction if you have any questions or problems about sexual health advice, like emergency contraception and sexually transmitted infections (STI's).
