There are lots of simple things we can do to reduce our risk of becoming a victim of crime, and that will make us safer whether we are at home, or out and about.

Here are some useful websites to help keep you, your property and your friends and family safe.

The Surgery has loads of information on crime and young offenders, knives, guns and tips on how to stay safe.

The Metropolitan Police provides helpful information on how to stay safe when you are travelling by foot, when home alone and even what to do if your mobile phone is stolen.

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust  provides really practical ideas on personal safety.
