W.I.C.K.E.D bag

Did Lara resist temptation or did she buy the bag? Read on to find out in this story by Lara.

Okay, here’s the deal. When it comes to money issues, I’m always careful. Let’s make that very careful.

I love to shop – a lot – but I always make sure I’m being reasonable with the amount of money I’m spending.

Louis Vuitton

For instance, the other day, I was out shopping with my big sister on Oxford Street and spotted this gorgeous Louis Vuitton bag. Boy, was it W.I.C.K.E.D. It was so pretty. But also very expensive. I mean expensive for a teenager who is in full-time education, like moi.

I wanted it so much. I was considering spending my overdraft to get it. But hey, I thought of the pros and cons. I would be spending that much money on a bag that would be cool for only one season – yes, one season – just winter, which isn’t my best season.

I tried to convince myself that it wasn’t worth it. I dreamed about me… carrying that Louis Vuitton bag with leopard skin print.

But hey, I got over it. I’m fine now. Really.

Santa strikes back

That Christmas, I got a Balenciaga bag, which is W.I.C.K.E.D and S.P.A.N.K.I.N.G.L.Y hot and – wait for it – for all seasons. Thanks go to my big sis, who knew how much I wanted the previous bag.

If I had spent my overdraft, I probably would still be paying it back. And I would have gotten bored of the bag. But I didn’t. I was pretty reasonable with money that time.

The moral of the story: good things come to those who wait. Plus they might cost nothing…
