Careers
With so many choices, deciding what to do when you finish studying can be a full-time job in itself.
However, there’s loads of ways you can narrow down your options, begin planning your career path and get support with landing that first job.
Chosing the right career path
First you need to narrow down what you like (your interests). What are you good at? (your strengths). It may be useful to make a list. Once you've completed the list, you can now begin to look at what skills or qualifications you'll need to do that job.
Directgov -Young People is a great place to start, as the information is accessible and there are clear steps to guide you through making that all important decision.
You can also find information about chosing the right career on next step 'planning your career' section.
If you're still not sure what to do, it may be worthwhile speaking to a Connexions advisor.
